About Codebreaker
So, you think you're smart?
Can you figure out what characters have been switched in a garbled text? Can you learn to decode a message sent using Morse code? Can you grasp the concept of storing information using only numbers? Or how these numbers are represented using only zeroes and ones? Can you memorize a string of numbers, letters or images? Are you able to identify what's missing from a sequence of numbers, letters or symbols?
Are you sure?
You begin with deciphering a message where the characters have been switched, with the help of several hints. This begins the Character Substitution path. As you complete more challenges, you'll unlock other paths with different types of challenges. Each path begins fairly easy, but difficulty increases rapidly.
Is this for you then?
This is not an action game. It will not put your reflexes to the test (although some parts of it requires speed and coordination). The game is about challenging your mind. It helps if you are analytical, good at spotting patterns and have an eye for logic. And, of course, you need a fair amount of patience.
Ever heard the phrase "Easy to learn, difficult to master"? Well, in this case it's true.
Now, do you have what it takes to be a Codebreaker?
Then, by all means, give it a try. But don't say you weren't warned and don't come crying to us if it turns out you weren't as smart as you thought.

It's ok, But the response on controls combined with the timing required for some of them is ridiculous. You can't give out 20 seconds total to click out 4 16bit decimal to binary conversions if the UI takes a second to response to each mouse click and delays by 2 seconds to display each one, so we get effectively 3 seconds each. Rage quit it after that. It is just stupid you need randomly get three less than 3 active bit numbers in a row to even have a chance. Allow us to tab through them and speed up your UI response.3 found this helpful
response time isn't great, as another reviewer has stated. also i'm assuming it's using generic paragraphs for a lot of the text (which repeats by the way, making some of the levels very easy), otherwise the developer has decided to lecture me on guns, which i'm really not a fan of at all.1 found this helpful
Reddit's favorite game.
while some of the times limits are very short. its a very fun game, would recommend
Overall a mix of fun puzzles to work the mind(and maybe learn a thing or two). However, a few of them get out of control way too fast. You would have to be an actual computer to complete some of these because they are literally impossible for a human to process and execute that quickly.
I have been a Codebreaker! (but not so smart as I thought) It is a challange too try all (and they are many) levels. Can't stop playing! Try it if you dare!
