Collider is a very badly made multiplayer centric... well, I'd call it a kind of SpaceWar!/Asteroids ripoff but I'm pretty sure the developer couldn't work out how to do the simplistic propulsion physics of those games so it's just a top-down shooter/bullet hell game where you can move around inertialessly with WASD... and unfortunately, that's the only "nice" thing that can be said about this shovelware. Oh, there's bots, so it can be played (because, you know, there's no actual human players, because this is garbage). So there, two "nice" things about the game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't goi…5 found this helpful

Unfortunately, the game doesn't have enough polish to be fun imo. Graphics and UX are a hard to understand, only four xbox controllers work at the same time (most likely because the game falls back to XInput instead of DINput for those) and I don't like the sound design at all. It's the little things like apprupt victory screens that don't have a direct rematch option, basic samey looking game elements and the sounds of all actions that just don't quite fit together. I can't recommend it for your next couch coop session2 found this helpful
I bought this specially for 5-8 player shared-screen gaming. (Want the TL;DR version? Skip to the bottom paragraph) The game's info says it supports 8 players same PC and says it has full controller support This is not accurate! If there is any one controller above all for a shared-screen multiplayer game to support, it's the Xbox One controller with the wireless adaptor. This is the latest gamepad made by the same company as the operating system for guaranteed compatibility. It's the easiest and most reliable way of having 8 wireless controllers to a PC. After all, who wants to play with 8 wired controllers?! Yet the game only supports 4 of 8 Xbox One controllers! It's not a hardware issue on my end: Knight Squad, the 8-player standalone Tower Ascension, and other 8 player games work just fine with the same setup. So the developer stating it supports 8 players combined with them stating it has full controller support: well, that's false advertising. So: The developers... 1) ...are negligent in their testing and never found this easy-to-detect bug. OR 2) ...found the bug, but are too apathetic to fix it. OR …2 found this helpful
This game is surprisingly fun, although I didn't get to test the multiplayer, but played against artificial intelligence. It's definitely something in between. But global multiplayer would have been nice.
No instructions on how to play the game modes and awful UX that forces you to adjust settings by by pushing the sliders around with your ship.
