About Colored Pencil Bakery
Let’s Open a Cute Bakery
This game is a simple bakery management game made for people who just want to play a bakery game.
I bake cute and delicious-looking bread and sell it to animals living in the forest.
In this game, I can enjoy the following features.
- I grow wheat to gather ingredients
- I make dough and bake bread in the oven
- I place freshly baked bread on shelves and sell it
- I can make various kinds of bread, cakes, sweets, and dishes

I have spent over 750 hours playing this creator's games. Even though I told myself I wouldn't buy any new games in 2026, when I saw that this had released, I immediately bought it. Even though this game has a different vibe overall, it plays like a perfect combination of World End Diner and Sky End Market. You play a young girl running a bakery for animals in a world that feels like a storybook. There is a lot to unlock, so even though the game is repetitive, it is never boring - perfect for playing while listening to music or a podcast. It's really easy to get lost in this world, baking bread and foraging for materials. Unlocking things in the research tree is a slow process, and you can't decorate or expand your bakery this time. This may change as the game develops, because right now it is still in early access. I just really hope this game will have seasonal events.3 found this helpful
This game is perfect if you’re looking for something relaxing that allows you to mostly turn your brain off. In a lot of cooking games you have to worry about angry customers, burning food, and running all over frantically; which is fine sometimes, but this is so perfectly casual. Your food doesn’t burn, the customers help themselves, and the money auto collects. The most work is really collecting everything you need to bake your goods. My biggest complaint is that I had a hard time figuring out how to play this on my Steam Deck, but I did figure it out! I’m sure there’s an easier way, but I ended up having to get started on my PC because when I tried to get past inputting a bakery name on my Deck, I couldn’t. Right after that I switched to my Deck and I just had to use the in game settings to change the screen resolution. Now it seems to be working seamlessly! In some spots, the writing is VERY small and hard to read, but it IS playable on a Steam Deck. To me, that’s perfect, because this is the kind of game I’d play with my show on in the background or something! There are a few small things in game that I wish were different or that I could change, but all in all, this game …2 found this helpful
If you loved either World End Diner or Sky End Market, get this game!!! It's kind of like a blend between the two (though World End Diner is still my favorite overall). You make different recipes, then put your baked goods out on tables for people to purchase, which they do on their own (no cashiering). Like always, there are tons of unlocks and always something to do, all with no pressure or stress.2 found this helpful
Normally I don't write reviews, but this game is just so cute and fun!! I have the World's End Diner and the Sky End Market game as well! I enjoy these three games a lot! If you're looking for a peaceful, cozy game, this one is just the one you need! I didn't have to worry about anything! I just enjoyed the game, and I will keep playing it! This game needs more reviews; it's so fun!! Keep up the amazing work, Dev!2 found this helpful
I love this game. It is relaxing but it keeps you busy. Cute and full of breads.1 found this helpful
I didn't even realize Andymente had released this new game until it showed up on my Steam Discovery Queue. As a huge fan of his previous two games I bought this one instantly. Game feels very similar to his previous two games, but with storybook graphics. I miss my cute little customizable robot character, but the graphics for this game are growing on me. Simple but addicting gameplay loop. It's definitely one of those 'I'll just play one more day' type games where you lose track of time. I look forward to losing many hours to this game.1 found this helpful
