COMA: Lost in the Maze

But that is where my praise ends because what starts out fairly promising quickly devolves into a another maze runner in which there are as many dead ends as there are twists and turns in the maze. While there are what seems to be enemies strewn about the interactions with them are few and far between in my experience. This means you are subjected to repeating textures with almost nothing to do or see for long periods of time. This does get old really fast. While I am sure there is more to the game than what I saw (based on the trailers and images on the game page at least) getting to them is more of a slog than I am willing to endure.

Got stuck in black room because I got squished by wall. This game is just mazes… Had promising moments, but mazes are just boring, and enemies for now are just flying balls… Which is not that scary, but sound was spooky, but that is the only thing that was spooky.

The atmospheric effect is well done; very unsettling. However, the game itself is a time sink. It takes a long time of monotonous exploration before you stumble upon anything different or meaningful. I'd love to complete a playthrough to see if the ending makes the game worth it, but I have neither the time nor patience for that.
