The combat is some of the worst in the genre. Hit, run, ring around the rosie, repeat. Hard mode turns enemies into nothing but bullet sponges. The two boss fights I encountered took 10 minutes because I was just waiting for my resources to replenish while running in circles. Good atmosphere, but the gameplay is atrocious.5 found this helpful
At the time of writing this, i`m not done the game but i gotta say, i`ve really been enjoying what i have seen so far. This game is pretty great and even being in EA i was pleasantly surprised how well put together it is. I think my biggest gripe with it might be the abundance of safe rooms you have in the later game. I think having less of these MIGHT keep the tension going longer since i found myself actively saying out loud "oh, well lets just save and see what happeneds when we go in here" Aside from that, there`s a lot that i appreciate in this as a horror game fan. All the little nods to other franchaises and even the way the reticle system works for the pistol (A la Alien Isolation) I can see an attention to detail here i don`t often see from other indie horror games. Very well done (so far! i haven`t finished it yet)1 found this helpful
This is a good game so far it is much like Silent Hill. It runs smooth, the story is good, good atmosphere and enemies. I would recommend this game to anyone that is old school like myself and who enjoys the horror games, people that grew up in the 90s will know what I'm on about. Also it's so nostalgic the ambiant music is beautiful. I can't wait for chapter 2. Thank you dev(s) and you made a gem here.
Muito bom, recomendo.
What to say... Silent hill meets Resident evil in minecraft. I can't WAIT for the next chapters. 11/10 game! Picked it up off of keymailer, but would have happily purchased. Highly recommend!!!
Alright these guys are cooking! I was hooked for 3 hours straight and I can recommend it, but let's get into details. Visual are like you see, so I won’t be talking about them. Sound design and Ambient is fabulous, really gives you the creeps. Story is interesting and well written. Map design is done well, there are reused assets, but it is done with style. Puzzle are done well, they could be harder, but I am not complaining. The combat system has ups and downs. I understand that the developer probably wanted us to feel weak and powerless, but the melee weapons and the gun are bad dmg is very low it fighting fells like a chore, after getting other weapons you finally feel like you have a fighting chance. The melee items I can understand why there are weak somehow, but the gun ? I upgraded it almost to full DMG, but it still was very bad and aiming with it even worse I am standing not moving crosshair is on the enemies and the bullet flies through him doing NOTHING. Maybe it is a little but buggy but still the dmg just feels so bad.
