Its core design philosophy lies not in passive reading, but in physically moving to crime scenes and doing the detective work yourself. The story unfolds as a full-length narrative, beginning with a daring bank robbery. Gameplay is built on three pillars: evidence collection, action, and deduction. The foundation is methodical investigation — lifting fingerprints with a magnifying glass and charcoal powder, searching environments for physical clues, and cross-referencing suspect testimonies. Action elements add variety: Diana can infiltrate areas in disguise, tail suspects through QTE sequences, and arrest those who resist. Cipher puzzles, including Caesar codes, are woven in between, keeping the pacing from going stale. The game's greatest appeal is the Detective's Wall in Diana's office. The game used to softlock in chapter 6 during an event in the police station after an encounter with an antagonist, making it impossible to progress. The developer implemented a patch a day after I reported the issue. Now however, the dialogue during the interrogation segment of Chapter 7 is hidden by a character's body who is in the wrong layer. Foreign text is often displayed alongside English text. The game content is padded with easy but repetitive minigames to do very simple actions like opening a vent, lockpicking and so on.

This is one of those games where I wish there was a middle ground. Do I recommend this game? Kind of. I am currently on chapter 8 and so far the story is decent and the puzzle solving is pretty good and not too difficult. Though, there was one puzzle that I struggled with, but that was due to overthinking on my part and the developer was kind enough to give me a clue. But boy is this game buggy. Quite a few times now I have encounter a bug where the protagonist is talking with someone and then everyone is then stuck in a conversation animation loop where no one is actually talking. This has repeatedly happened to me on a few separate occassions, softlocking me from completing a chapter. But to the developer's credit, they do seem to respond quickly and patch out bugs in a timely manner. But like I said, this conversation bug seems to keep rearing it's ugly head. Because they are an Indie Developer, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I've got to be honest, my patience is starting to get real thin. "It just felt really like clicky, like I just kind of clicked things and things happened. There was not really any deduction." This detective adventure feels a bit straightforward, focusing more on simple point-and-click interactions than deep mystery-solving or deduction mechanics. While the premise is solid, it didn't quite capture my interest as much as I hoped. Probably worth checking out if you enjoy minimalist investigation games, but it wasn't for me. Game very good but the "hide under the table" mechanic alway choose the wall side that make me stuck when im get out. I hope it will be fixed soon.
