Hello Detective
You’re invited to the most deadly party of the season! Join your friends and family, become iconic characters and enter the Mansion! Soon after you arrive the host’s body is discovered at the bottom of the stairs. The house is on lockdown until the puzzle is solved and the criminal is revealed.
Whodunit? With what weapon? Where? There’s six suspects, six weapons, nine rooms, and only one answer…
Gather up to 6 players and become Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Doctor Orchid, Reverend Green, Mrs. Peacock or Professor Plum. Any one of them could be guilty, all you have to do is crack the case!
At the start of each game, one suspect, one weapon, and one room will be removed from the deck, and the remaining cards will be dealt to the players. If you ask: “was it Colonel Mustard with the Rope in the Drawing Room”, a player holding the Colonel, the Rope or the Drawing Room must show you a card. Enter every room in search of answers!
The virtual Cluesheet will automatically keep track of the cards you’ve been shown and cross them off your list, but you can add ticks and crosses of your own. Pay attention to what your fellow investigators are asking and who replies - you may be able to find answers without even having to ask!
It’s a race against time! You must be on the scene of the crime to make your accusation, so roll the dice, get to the correct room and unravel the mystery! If your accusation is incorrect, you will be eliminated from the game. Don’t risk letting the criminal escape! Be sure before you show your hand.

I love Clue but only getting one board/set of characters and charging $7 for every additional board/character set is highway robbery.21 found this helpful
It's an OK game but the overall concept is straight-forward and simple, and as such, boring, especially by the clue-cards are filled automatically, unlike as it would be if played with the actual table top game. Long story short, TL;DR and more or less, the game mechanics is, 3 decks of cards are shuffled: Person, Weapon, Room. Everyone pulls one of each, so one of each remains, that's the who, where and how did of the murder. The game play is going places and making other players reveal whatever card they have in their hand, so all in all it's nothing but a simple set deduction, i.e. figuring out what cards are in players' hands, so the ones aren't are the murder case file. Confusing the 1st time as marks on the "card sheet" is a little strange, then one or two turns is fun, then it turns boring and stays like that. Clue-tastic mystery of fun!
Really fun game. Really worth buying when on sale! I'm totally addicted to it!

I enjoy playing Clue. I enjoy that I can play alone, online (though can lag pending other players) and the ability to play privately with friends/host. I think paying the extra for the unlocked characters and boards is absolutely worth it. Fun game to pass time and such.
