CoRoT

This is a quality game from talented developers who are sadly more interested in representing their favorite media than giving their creativity the starring role. There's nothing wrong with being inspired, but it's a careful balance that just isn't being struck here...mostly. Whenever this game isn't directly copying P.T. is when it suddenly becomes interesting. At first you think it's just a looping ghost story, but there's much more happening underneath that very few are going to see because its sitting under something so derivative. The ARG aspect probably could have attracted a larger community to solve the remaining mysteries if the foundation were as original as its strongest moments. Regardless of the above, the game still gets a thumbs up. Good voice acting, quality writing, a few well designed scenes, and it captured the feeling of how nightmares actually are instead of how they're typically portrayed. And most importantly, I always want to support small developers. I only hope they trust their own creativity more going forward, because the potential is definitely there.

For the love of god can someone make a 2-3 hour "explained" video on this?

This is honestly a great game. It's a very PT like game where you go in the same room over and over but it takes it to a whole other level when you have to start alt tabing out of the game to solve puzzles and go into files the game puts onto your computer. I will say it is VERY hard. Some puzzles took me an hour or so to figure out but its a great and brilliant way to keep the game interesting. This game is also very very scary. If you liked PT, you will love this game I promise.

3.3 This is a rough one and a bit of a mess but with a really well done atmosphere. This wears it's P.T. inspiration on it's sleeve extremely proudly. The downside is that it is much worse than it and probably one of the only real 'scares' was an almost direct copy that it never ever even attempts to do again. A majority of this game is just walking through the same corridor in extremely poorly lit conditions, exit the door and arrive back at the beginning of the corridor. This is okay to create that mystery and drum up the unease, especially with just how dark this game is almost the entire time. After about 4 or so loops is where this starts to show more of what it is going to attempt. I am not going to spoil everything but will touch on some so if you want to go in blind, don't read on. The game starts to play out more of the narrative outside of the game, throwing a video into your browser whilst other strange happenings start to occur. This is interesting to begin with, especially after playing other 'meta horror' such as IMSCARED and MyPlace/ADarkPlace. The downside is that well none compare whatsoever to IMSCARED and the Place series has more gameplay going on too.…

Terrible game. Crashed my pc, made me tab out and click a button which i couldn't click. Pointless. Why did you put this in the game???

I don't know what is real anymore The fabric of reality is breaking down There is something watching me Studying me breathing down my neck I have to keep going I hate to.....
