That was amazing. Thanks for the experience. Incredibly unsettling. The ending put my stomach in knots. I had to stand up and walk around for a minute. Really great horror game.

This deserves more love

Seeing the promotional on insta was actually a golden FYP pull.. The thing I keep grappling with is the fact that this is the first game from Tree Gameworks. All areas got so much care AND ONCE AGAIN finding out this was all one person!! The sound engineering, the environment, the realism of the camera we view the world through, everything. Tension is built well and when jump scares do come, they're very intentional and I like that. Not to mention, the story?? At first I just thought the typewriter was a fun little mechanic, but the moment that I realized [spoiler]the first few typewriter entries were months apart and our character's responses to notes around the house mentioned "we" and "you" and "doesn't it?"[/spoiler], I locked tf in. The way the story is told canonically makes sense, and the drip feeding of information gives a lot of intrigue to the character. Moments that originally made no sense all the sudden have such weight to them once you think back. As well, multiple endings makes sense here, my only complaint is [spoiler]the lack of replay value. worth it

This game was terrifying in all the best ways. Multiple times I had to just pause and take a break before continuing forward, but I did not want to stop. The found footage aspect works beautifully, especially when you are forced to put down the flashlight in the other hand to interact with any other item. Two playthroughs didn't take long, but I don't think I'll ever forget them.
