so far this sub game is fun and quite easy to learn. It now provides a tutorial that is pretty informative and after going through the tutorial it was fun as i was successful in attacking a small and then larger japanese convoys and i actually survived. i think the torpedo computer may be kinder that in real life but it sure was a blast sinking the ships. Yes to this Crash Dive II its a great fun sub simulator game reminds me of back in the fat Mac days of the sub game GATOR which of course was black & white with the early Macintosh computers. The ships explosions and sinking is well programmed to look quite realistic.

submarines require stealth and this game can provide the correct environments. Cool game.

Great game. Basicly an old style WWII Garo submarine simulator, where graphics is on the retro side, but usually you spend your most time on the naval map. There is a campaign mode, where you perform patrols with various optional side missions and goal is to cause as much damage to Japanese navy as possible. Based on your results, you will get some money at the end of the mission which you can spend on various upgrades. Do not expect Dangerous Waters realism, but it is also far from being an arcade shooter, as you can easily be destroyed by enemy destroyers and sub-chasers, and even if you survive a battle, you can lose skilled crew members.
