CREAM SODA CLUB is a free to play VR game. It worked to a point on my Index system, looked ok, sounded ok, was barely understandable, played nope. CONS: - Devs says it works on Oculus Touch, according to system requirements. - Devs are Russian and barely localized the game to English. Don't bother downloading, except if you have Quest 2 and understand Russian.

This has an appealing, addictive game loop. It's missing sounds effects, but the soundtrack is decent to listen to. I found myself just going form one level to the next, enjoying it.

"CREAM SODA CLUB" is a pointless Russian VR tech demo with a mangled translation and equally mangled game design... and using the word "game" is generous here. This is a simple environment with few interactions, place some stuff (unclear what or why), play some (awful) Russian music and watch people dance. Boring. The graphics here are particularly awful, low poly neon garbage assets, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Next is pricing and what value this has for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because so…
