About Cricket Captain 2021
Cricket Captain 2021 takes to the field for a new season. An exciting year includes the final of the inaugural Test Match Championship, and the new ODI World Championship, which gives teams the chance to qualify for the 2023 World Cup. The 100 Ball competition will run for the first time, introducing a new short format game. Cricket Captain 2021 gives you the change to play in these, and many more, competitions and formats.
20 Over match simulation has been improved for Cricket Captain 2021, with a rebalanced match engine and updated batting aggression bar, providing greater control of scoring rate. We have also increased outfield catches when batsmen are attacking. The target RPO (T.RPO) indicator has been replaced with estimated RPO (E.RPO) when batting, taking changing bowler tactics into account, to give greater scoring rate accuracy. Dot ball percentage has replaced maidens in 20 Over matches to provide further information about the bowling strengths and performance of your bowlers.
The exciting atmosphere of the Super Over makes its debut in Cricket Captain. The English domestic system has been updated with the latest rules for competitions and overseas players. We have also updated the South African domestic system, with 15 new teams.
Cricket Captain 2021 features a full database update, including new stats for fastest 50s and 100s for team, ground and versus records.

simple, not Football Manager, but I liked
I like the way the mechanisms work for the game

Same problem as the other games in the series. Impossible to find a difficulty level that leads to a balanced game. You are not rewarded for carefully selecting a team, nor for bowling to a batters weakness. Run rates are very uneven (AI scores very quickly, you slowly). Batting collapses for no reason on good pitches but also Bowlers doing little to nothing on in good conditions. Opponents being able to bat out entire days 4 & 5 to win/draw a test. even when 600 runs behind. There is a great game in there, but they've not found it and I no longer wish to waste any more time on this franchise. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience. As a cricket lover, this game could be so much but falls so short. I cannot put more time into something so annoying. Games like this should never have a difficulty mode. Look at Football Manager. No difficulty and one of the best sports games of all time.
Well the last time I played a version of this was way back in 2016. I cant believe it has not changed a bit. Talk about cash grabbing. How about listening to the people who buy this and change some ♥♥♥♥ up. Don't even bother buying this copy and paste game. I just tried my first 20 over match. Their score 250 for 1, mine all out for 60, such a close game. One guy hit 5 sixes in one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over off my best bowler on 3 aggression attack. So I don't play 20 over games anymore. Every four day match is mostly a draw or you have games like this, my first batting 105 all out, them 495 declare for 4, so that's a lot of fun too. Yet to play a test, but can I really even be bothered.... Guest not.
