Crisis Commander: Strait Of Hormuz

Really enjoyed this one. The mix of naval combat, strategy and the oil market mechanic is surprisingly fun, and I like how your decisions actually affect the game. It could use a bit more variety and replayability, but for what it is, I had a great time with it.

The core idea is genuinely interesting, especially the connection between naval combat, oil prices, and political satire. Unfortunately, the gameplay still feels a bit underdeveloped. After a few runs, the core loop starts to feel repetitive, and I didn't feel like there were enough meaningful decisions or variety to make each run feel significantly different. The upgrade system helps, but I would love to see more events, units, different strategies, and stronger consequences for the choices you make. I also think the relationship between your actions and the oil market could be communicated more clearly, since that is one of the most interesting parts of the concept. There is definitely potential here, and I like the idea behind the game, but in its current state I don't think there is enough depth or variety for me to recommend it yet.

The game has a fun concept and a surprisingly engaging mix of tower defense, resource management, and satire. The humor works well without getting in the way of the gameplay, and the oil price mechanic adds some nice pressure to each run. It could definitely use more content and a few balance improvements, but I still had a good time with it.

A nice TD game with good dark humor. With an up to date topic, it was a laugh for me. Other than that, easy learning curve and a nice time spender. Approved.

There is an issue with the optimal path. I can simply exploit mine purchases and keep progressing through the game. The overall playtime is short, there should also be more content. Other than that, playing a war simulation in the Strait of Hormuz is fun.

The core gameplay loop is quite engaging and the satirical elements add a lot of charm. However, it could use some quality-of-life improvements regarding the interface and balancing. Still, it's an enjoyable experience with good potential for future updates.
