Welcome to Cross Country Skiing VR!
Your task is to finish before your opponent in a virtual, cross country skiing race. But watch out! You're ski poles are very short so squat down and really get moving with your arms to get a head start and cross the finish line first. You choose if you want to face off your opponent in a 500 or a 1 000 meter track. Get your heart rate going in the snowy, virtual forest tracks!
This version of Cross Country Skiing VR is a first release created to explore how VR can be used to motivate and promote physical activity. It's a short and straight forward race of cross country skiing ideal to be a part of e.g. a workout warm up. Please share any feedback for future development.

Игра 'Cross Country Skiing VR' – это, конечно, не для всех, но для любителей зимних видов спорта, жаждущих реализма, она может стать настоящим открытием. Управление лыжами и палками ощущается довольно интуитивно, хотя поначалу потребуется некоторое привыкание. Особенно впечатляет погружение: морозный воздух, скрип снега под лыжами, панорамные виды заснеженных пейзажей – всё это создаёт удивительную атмосферу. Трассы разнообразны, от пологих лесных тропинок до крутых спусков, требующих мастерства. Режимы соревнований добавляют азарта, а возможность настроить сложность позволяет как новичкам, так и опытным лыжникам найти свой вызов. Для тех, кто скучает по снегу вне сезона или просто хочет попробовать что-то новое в VR, эта игра – отличный вариант.

Good I guess but extremely basic. I was literally done with it after 4 minutes - I had to run it an extra minute just to be able to write this review. So uh, yeah. I mean it's free?
Literally all you do is move your arms 500m or 1000m and its easy and there isn't any other trails to do but just go straight Game: 4/10
I like the game. On Vive Cosmos it works fine. I don't like real skiing, but in the game I can't fall, it is perfect! If you want to feel to be a great skier and to stretch your hands, then the game is for you. The only problem I've noticed is that the quit button doesn't work. Though it is no problem.
