Crowborne

Crowborne is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This GameMaker Studio mess has you control a crow dude and do normal puzzle/action platforming stuff, but there's a couple of gimmicks, like you can turn into a crow that actually flies, and apparently lob grenades around, which isn't much of a crow thing (at least I hope not). All in all a totally mediocre walk through a completely congested and yet also obsolete genre of games most people don't really like all that much. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched...
