They forgot to finish the game, no discard makes it basically luck based. They will never return to put final touches on so just skip the install and actually go buy a better game.

"Crunch Time!" is an interesting entry here in the Steam Direct department, for starters it's genuinely made, that alone is rare enough (sad to say, but true, Steam Direct turned Steam into much less of the video game wonderland that it should be). This is both a video game and a real world card game you can play by yourself. The theme is, as the blurb suggests, one of videogame development. You're tasked with managing your own company and completing projects, competing against other companies. The mechanics involve using cards representing developers, tasks, and obstacles to succeed. Unfortunately it bottoms out very quickly... there's not a lot of variety in the cards or decision making involved... you win by pushing as many cards as you can play, that's it. There's also no multiplayer, and while I'm quick to say multiplayer is a crutch for most games (if the game doesn't offer anything without adding other people, it doesn't offer anything at all), this is a case where it really needed it to try compensate for the shortcomings. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's func…

Игра 'Crunch Time!'

Took me a decade to post a review of this simple card game. I enjoyed my in-between sessions with this game after a long single player game or competitive game. Its too bad this game didn't go any further. Thank you David for making this game.
