A fun trip down memory lane. The nostalgia hit hard, and even on the hardest difficulty it felt fair and enjoyable. Great remaster and a fantastic way to revisit the original.
Good but far from a perfect remaster. The game has a lot of positives including streamlined controls, great action set pieces and a lot of fun weapons and powers to use. However because this remaster is based on the console version rather the original PC it is always going to struggle in comparison. Graphics look a little crude in places, there are quite a few minor glitches and the game is missing the superb Warhead expansion campaign. Despite all this the core experience remains enjoyable and if you are new to the game such flaws may not bother you.
A mediocre start of a series, this game is way ahead of its time and it was fun while it lasted (if you play it not on the highest difficulty). BUT CAN IT RUN CRYSIS ?!!!
This release is a broken piece of ♥♥♥♥. It constantly crashes.
Начну с геймплея. Это шутер от первого лица, но по ощущениям он оказался даже более топорным, чем Counter-Strike. У оружия практически нет отдачи, а пули летят слишком кучно, из-за чего стрельба кажется какой-то безжизненной. Отдельная проблема - видимость противников. У меня плохое зрение, и высматривать корейских солдат на карте оказалось настоящей пыткой. Вместо того чтобы расслабляться, ради чего я обычно и запускаю игры, приходилось постоянно напрягаться, сидеть почти вплотную к монитору и буквально всматриваться в каждый куст. В итоге игра вызывала не удовольствие, а усталость. Но и это не всё. В игре хватает багов. Несколько раз приходилось перепроходить отдельные миссии или вообще перезапускать игру, чтобы очередной баг исчез. В итоге именно геймплей стал для меня главным разочарованием. Что касается сюжета, то он постоянно напоминал Half-Life 2. Опять главный герой в высокотехнологичном костюме, опять инопланетная угроза. Только здесь зачем-то решили добавить ещё и корейских военных. И если честно, я так и не понял, зачем они вообще нужны. Ближе к концу игры их сюжетная линия просто исчезает, и складывается ощущение, что они были нужны лишь для того, чтобы искусст…
