ENG: Azura, guardian goddess of the Emerald Grove and protagonist of Crystal Goddess, is having a bad day: after a long day guarding the forest, not only does her cat, Mr. Snuggles, not even bother to wash her back, but she can't even find her favorite bath sponge. On top of that, Violet Vixen, the self-proclaimed true goddess of the realm, appears unannounced in her home and steals her sacred crystals. With their power, the overgrown evil goddess will have the realm at her feet and reign supreme. Forgoing her bath, Azura must quickly chase her across the 5 worlds of the kingdom to recover the 4 crystals before it's too late. This Otterside Games' first title, and testing ground for what will be their much more refined and interesting second work, it's a cute little platformer whose erotic component, while cute, is negligible, as is the soundtrack, which is catchy enough but very repetitive. The gameplay is also cute and simple, and relies on the mechanic of swapping your equipped crystals, once you've collected them, to overcome the various obstacles and less varied enemies in your path. Reactive and appropriately responsive, the use of a controller is practically mandatory anywa…

Just a pretty generic platformer. Adult content is practically non-existent.

It was a hard decision whether to give this a thumb up or thumb down. This game could have been SO much better and here is where they went wrong: 1. The girls that you rescue don't make any sound at all, nor are there any sex sounds. 2. The music in the first world isn't very good. The music in the other worlds is fine though. 3. All small enemies have the exact same sound effect when they fire. It gets annoying pretty quickly. 4. The continue screen has a horrible font. Not only that but it's smooth rather than pixelated so it feels inconsistent with the retro aesthetic of the game. 5. Why do the bullets make contact with the girls that you are rescuing instead of just the demons? Seems like the developer couldn't be bothered making two separate sprites. 6. Last but not least... WHY DO 99% OF ADULT GAMES HAVE TO BE ANIME!!?? JESUS CHRIST, GIVE IT A BREAK, CREATORS... NOT EVERYONE IS A FAN OF GIANT EYES AND TINY MOUTHS! On the plus side, it's nice to see a half decent adult platformer but as I say, it could have been a lot better. Maybe it was rushed or maybe the creator was lazy. Hopefully their next game will be a better adult platformer and HOPEFULLY it won't be anime st…

The gameplay is very basic and repetitive. The adult content is minimal and not very engaging. An adult game needs to do at least one of these well to interest me and this game fails to deliver either.
