About Dark Age Asunder

Dark Age Asunder is an action rogue-lite bullet heaven where you battle through endless waves of monsters while rebuilding a fallen kingdom. Choose your hero, unlock powerful abilities, gather resources, and restore what was lost - one run at a time. The world lies in ruins. An evil King and his dark Wizard have razed villages and unleashed relentless monsters upon the land. It’s up to a group of heroes to reclaim the realm by fighting back, rebuilding settlements, and growing strong enough to dethrone the tyrant.

Select Your Hero!

Dark Age Asunder is a rogue-lite bullet heaven game. Your character will automatically attack in the direction they are facing. Each character has a different playstyle, allowing you to choose one that fits your preference.

Level Up!

As you go through each level, a different type of enemy will spawn each minute. Enemies drop EXP, or potions with temporary effects. When you collect enough EXP, you can select one of three upgrades to give your character additional abilities or to strengthen their stats for this run only.

Gather Resources to rebuild your home!

Stand within the bounds of a Resource Discovery to claim them. The resources available to capture are Wood, Iron, Mana, and Gold. Every minute that passes, you receive resources for each Iron Mine, Gold Mine, and Mana Well Resource Discovery you have claimed. Wood is a finite resource and can only be obtained once per Resource Discovery. These resources can be used to build Structures that will help you on your journey.

Come Back Stronger!

After finishing or dying during a level, you have the ability to Upgrade your character’s stats permanently in the shop using Gold you have collected while playing.

It has the bare bones basics. enough to call it a game. Way over priced. It needs A LOT of work. It could be great though so long as the devs don't stop improving....just about everything.

Fun game with a stand out mechanic. I have some feed back however, Please allow players to decide when to move the cut scene forward. I missed dialoge because it moved on too fast. Fix the Fps issues. 10fps around 5min in to a game is not good. Giving it a tentative Reccomend as artwork is nice and so is the unique mechanic. Please just fix the fps.

it's fun, but as someone who's never played Vampire Survivors before, I would appreciate a bit of a tutorial, especially regarding the building aspect part of the game (I have no idea how to get the last two resources, the grey circle and purple person icon things so I can't build stuff which results in me being very weak). Also, would prefer to be able to cap my fps since my PC is screeching while playing this game (not overheating, just screaming for some reason, this never happens in other games I play and I got a good pc). Another issue is these small random freezes I get, nothing game-breaking, but you notice them. Overall, a decent game I'd say, but needs more performance improvements + tutorials.

A garlic like with no garlic? So it's vampire survivors but with less charm. The art style isn't reminiscent of classic Castlevania. There arn't a bunch of unique characters to unlock. The first character sucks. The enemies get super health spongy really fast and you never really feel like you are getting much stronger. There is zero wackyness to the builds. The upgrades don't display the name of the upgrades after obtaining them just what kind of upgrade they are. The building mechanic is clunky and kind of useless in most cases. If you are really digging deep into the genre maybe you get something from this but otherwise it just doesn't have the sauce that other games in the genre have.
