Honestly, this is one of the coolest indie horror games I've played in awhile. Very unique style and a nice change of pace from the typical ps1 aesthetic that so many games seem to go with now. Unfortunately, I ran into a game-breaking bug, lost my autosaves, and decided to step away until I get some confirmation that the issue has been resolved Hopefully my video helps shine some light on the problem and it gets worked out. Until then, I can't recommend buying it if it's not fully playable all the way through. GAMEPLAY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSXYl__K_Gs7 found this helpful
This is to Night At The Gates Of Hell what Survival Of The Dead is to Night Of The Living Dead4 found this helpful
This is a VERY janky zombie game and while it does have good atmosphere / music, graphics, and so on it does have a few issues. The game itself seems to glitch out at the end of the mall part with the camera being stuck during the cinematic with no way to get out of it. And to make things worse is that the game did not save my game at all and sent me back all the way to the military base in the forest for some reason with no save at the mall. Beyond that auto saves in the game only occur at the beginning of the level or at certain points and not after every loading screen. Some smaller things include awkward camera in certain areas along with melee not being the best, breaking down wooden doors mechanic seems to be not used unless you actively do it, and levels feel short in my opinion. I do like the zombie hordes but in my experience it seems like they get smaller the further in you go? I also couldn't click on anything on the chapter select screen as well and there was some collision issues with my character going through objects and me seeing the void at the bottom of the skyscraper level near the gas station. Story wise it does have some confusing moments such as being droppe…4 found this helpful
I’m really enjoying it! The soundtrack and audio are great, the locations are really cool, and the gameplay feels like a mix of Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising but ps2 game. It feels like playing a George Romero movie. Overall, a fantastic indie zombie game.1 found this helpful
