About Dead End Road
Dead End Road is an atmospheric driving game, with a low-fi aesthetic, perma-death and procedurally generated elements - Designed for multiple short "runs", featuring a unique "wish fulfilment" text parser system to generate a new ending each play-through.
You had been warned not to dabble in the occult, not to trifle with ancient knowledge that you could not possibly hope to understand. Yet you opened Pandora's box, and you did not like what you found inside.
Now something is pursuing you, terrorising you - Something that isn't bound to the rules of our reality. Ghosts? Some sort of demon? You wish you knew, although part of you is also glad you don't. What you do know is that you have to finish what you started - and fast.
Terrified and desperate, the only thing you can think of is to seek the assistance of the old woman who first told you of the ritual. She is the only one who can help you end this nightmare.

Solid game. It has a creepy atmosphere and pretty unique gameplay. On top of that, I really love the graphics personally. The game definitely had some good ideas. In my opinion, a few things could have been executed a bit better, especially since some parts can be quite frustrating. Overall though, it was still a very good experience.2 found this helpful
Spooky and hard, using a guide is very recommended1 found this helpful
World Peace was water damaged. Kinda on point there, game...
incredibly good but unfortunately niche game. the gameplay loop is pretty simple. drive around, try not to die or go insane which will probably also lead to u dying and get to the end with good enough items to be allowed into the ritual. it really isnt more than that. you just need to get a little lucky to get the right items and/or enough money and simply try to stay alive til the end. the atmosphere is a little spooky and so are the events, but it does lose it's effects after a while. there's several different endings triggerable by specific words and
all they do is show different ending texts/stories but its still pretty cool to see
it's a very good game for it's price but trying to find stuff about it online is a pain because it's so niche, i genuinely hope this changes one day! 8/10, would recommend!
Dead End Road is dark, mean, and honestly way better than it looks. The whole vibe is just straight up bleak, no heroic nonsense, no pretending you’re the good guy. You’re the problem here, and the game leans into that hard. Gameplay is simple but tense, and the atmosphere does most of the heavy lifting. It’s one of those games that sticks with you more for the feeling than anything else. not perfect, but for pure tone and mood? it hits 9/10, being the villain feels good.
Go ahead. Try it.
