Interesting concept and potential, problem is that the game is mostly still in Kanji and I cannot read Chinese/Japanese. It could use another pass with a translation software. I would rate it neutral if I had the option but for now, its a negative because I cannot play.

I did not know this was AI when I got it. All game events are generic and unconnected. It's boring. It basically plays like Reign, but no human wrote it or cared.

Dear His Majesty is an indie strategy and decision-driven simulation developed and published by huiFeng that places the player in the uneasy position of a young ruler inheriting a fragile medieval kingdom. Over time, this creates a quiet tension where short-term solutions can easily sow the seeds of future disasters. While the mechanics are accessible enough for casual players, there is a subtle strategic lay…

In this game, you begin as a prince stepping into power after the death of a wise and beloved king. The kingdom is uncertain, the enemies are circling, and all eyes are on you—will you bring stability, or will your reign end in ruin? This decision-making game offers simple gameplay. It unfolds entirely on a single screen, where you're presented with four event cards each year. Each card represents a dilemma or decision, and you're given two options. A click is all it takes—but the consequences ripple across your kingdom. Each decision affects one or more of five key attributes: treasury, military, people, resources, and diplomacy. Your challenge is to keep them all balanced. Let any of them fall too low, and your reign could abruptly end. While you're told which attributes will be affected, the actual outcome isn't always predictable. Sometimes an innocent-sounding choice leads to a drop. Other times, a risky or oddball choice brings surprising prosperity. Events are randomized each year, and the short descriptions paired with simple art on each card give the game a distinct charm. Side events add another layer of strategy. These optional encounters can grant "decree slots" if …
