About My Liege
Your Liege Lord needs you! As the days grow shorter, your house and that of your neighbors grow restless. Can you afford to share food with your Liege Lord's house, proving your allegiance? Or will your people starve in the coming winter? Will your house guard help defend the kingdom, or will your most trusted men stay at your side?My Liege is a medieval RPG that plays like a choose your own adventure visual novel. Unlike most medieval stories however, the house you are Lord of is the smallest and least influential of the noble houses. It is up to you to make the best of tough situations if your house is to maintain its place in the noble hierarchy.

What content is there is good but there is a problem. When you have something like "Choices matter" you expect to be able to deter the plot greatly with those choices. This is not that. Once you played it once, you've experienced 95% of what there is to experience. In the end, this is not a replayable story where your choices matter but a story where you were brought along for the ride and just need to survive. For that reason, I can't recommend it.2 found this helpful
I very much enjoyed playing My Liege. I especially liked being able to customize the various houses and characters. It was a fun story where I felt like my choices were impactful and decisions became tougher to make as I went. Because I was so invested in the story and eager to see what happened next, I spent less time exploring. I would have liked to see more cinematics and/or other mechanism to encourage players to navigate around and interact with the world. I plan on playing through again acquire more achievements and see how my outcomes change with different decisions.1 found this helpful

short n sweet, an interedsting concept on a city builder. would have like more simulation or city builder elements but good concept. too high a price for such a short game you wont get more than 3 hours of play.1 found this helpful
My Liege is a fun game about running your medieval house. Picking the right option for the short and long term, not knowing what will happen next! The choices you make impact your overall stats (gold, food, honor, military, and morale) which impact future choices, which impact how the story will unfold. I really liked how the advisors would tell you what the outcome of your actions were so that you could make a good choice. The overall style of this game is great and cohesive! While the customization is limited, it is fun to see the house you created take part in the world. If you forget who is who as the story unrolls (in scrolls behind a scene of the action), you can click on names of people and places to remind yourself. The game is a little short, especially if you don't spend a lot of time exploring what the world looks like or if you read very fast. I was worried I would make a choice that would end the game early the whole time, but this didn't happen, at least in my first playthrough. I plan on replaying the game to see how much the story changes (also to get those achievements)!
