About DEATH NOTE Killer Within
DEATH NOTE Killer Within is an online social deduction game for up to 10 players. Players will be split into two teams with different objectives. To win the game, players will need to figure out each other’s identities and either eliminate L who threatens Kira's power or seize the Death Note.
• Enjoy a battle of wits as Kira and his follower or as L and the investigators in the world of DEATH NOTE. As equally matched opponents, the two teams clash to control the game while hiding their true identities from each other. The Death Note is hidden among the players, leading to a thrilling game of cat and mouse until one team overpowers the other.
• Each role has its own characteristics, allowing you to master a deep sense of strategy and tactical play. Depending on your assigned role, a wide range of strategies can be formulated, and each randomized scenario develops into a high-stakes game of tactics.
• Supports cross-play for large groups of players.
• Customize your game avatar with up to seven types of unlockable items, pick a custom nameplate, and select a special animation to be displayed during dramatic moments of gameplay.

I want to enjoy this game , but it appears that 1/10 players are stuck in dead voice chat after 2 minutes. No fixes exist and it appears to have been a problem at launch. Quite awful not being able to speak in a social deduction game1 found this helpful
I would tell most people looking for a good social deduction game to avoid this one. Few people play it anymore, but don't waste your time and money on it. Here's why: 1.Toxic voice chat- people regularly abuse the microphone with trash talking that you need to speak to one another. Just the most awful sexist, racist language people can get away with. 2. lack of cooperation from your teammates. Based on the odds, you are more likely to end up on Team L as an investigator, but you need to work together otherwise Team Kira wins. 3. Hackers- they have ruined the game through cheating. 4. The developers- they have largely abandoned the game. The last update was done back in November 2025. I bought this game when it first came out and watched it go downhill. Do yourself a favor and just move on to something else.1 found this helpful
limited community so only active at certain points also hacking is prevelent(i've seen weird stuff)
no servers :< but a very fun game
chaotic
Got kicked for simply being on PC and having the possibility of being a hacker, i’ll keep to private lobbies with friends
