DEATH PENALTY

[i] Dungeons are boring, art is repetitive, there's a bunch of anit-semitism, racist slurs (n-words), and sometimes the game begs you to not take it seriously with its creepypasta slop. Finally, the story is mid, and that's speaking generously. [/i] [hr][/hr] [h3] Combat [/h3] The options are very uninspired, although while giving you some options, these options are really run-of-the-mill for an RPG. They leverage none of the story, and to argue in good faith they just barely stay in theme of the game. The enemy designs are ALL big black humanoid monsters with some claws and if you're lucky a white face with a mouth full of teeth. There's also a skull. Yeah. The strategy somewhat the same for all of the enemies: out-pace and out-damage, otherwise don't fight. Items come in a wide variety, from throwing weapons with various effects like stuns or turn-priority. There's also this one item that just destroys anything you dont like. There are actually... several. The game is not well-balanced, speaking in terms of fun. Because every single enemy is just the same guy but different, all their attacks are also the same routine of 6 skills. The enemies that do have a hatchet or something ju…

Idk about this one. I get that they want you to trial-and-error it, but the game is so slow. Why does the effect after killing enemies take like 8 seconds. Why can't we skip the cutscenes after we die. Feels like its just padding out playtime at some level because you die so often... Like sure, you can speed it up, but it still takes forever. Or at least let us exit the game right after we die. There are just a lot of qol things that make this kinda unpleasant.

The game has too many design flaws at the moment. 1. Enemies are everywhere. Since you get stats by winning, after clearing a few areas you just one shot any enemy and it becomes tedious. 2. One of the endings requires you to destroy 150 enemies' bodies. You can get to that number early-mid game. Then every time you search a dead enemy for the first time, if you choose to destroy, the game ends right there with the ending mentioned before. While this can be avoided, the sheer amount of dead enemies blocking your way means you are going to misselect sooner or later. 3. The map design is bad. Many places look alike and you don't get many visual clues to tell them apart. "Grid corridors" are overused so it usually takes a few times to pass the same place to make sure nothing is missed. 4. Too many ways to cause reduced vision. Destroy bodies, getting chased by pursuer, getting insane by not drinking from a sink for some time and getting hungry all makes the screen black/see less/screen turns red. Also it happens too frequently, making exploring painful. 5. Resting penalty is too harsh. You get a debuff (causes random encounters at an increasing frequency + keeps giving you other tempo…

Really good and really scary! If you crave more "fear and hunger", this is the drug you need.

I've got two endings now (S-Ending and Escape ending) so I feel like I can share my opinion on this game. PROS: The game has a very good atmosphere, nice looting system where items can give you an edge in combat (wouldn't be a survival horror without resource managment ;) ) and I enjoyed it. Also, the game allows you to be OP! I like that you're actually allowed to live out your power in this game. CONS: The game developer decided to put meme audios and meme pictures around several maps, which just breaks the immersion. Also, the item used to teleport to the shop of the man with the long nose is literally the flag of israel. Free Palestine, but bro, what the hell is the flag of israel doing in this game??? Completely broke my immersion, and it seems to be an edgy joke I guess. Overlooking these cons however allows one to experience a great game with a lot of passion put into it. The art is amazing. Worth a buy if on sale.
