Short ~8min no interaction experience. You go on an "on-rails" journey that tries to show the real life consequences of the deaths that have happened in terrorist attacks. Very humbling experience that makes it easier to get the aftermath of these horrible events. Recommended because its free and i believe worth at least one run through.

DeathTolls Experience is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, DeathTolls Experience is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This "art exhibition" depicts the "artists" political agenda as he tries to get famous off the back of human suffering. It's just an on-rails VR "experience" featuing a lot of body bags. So, there's no game here, but there is a guy trying to get noticed off political events. How quickly he rushed this for consideration at film festivals! I'm always adamant, no matter what the politics are, no matter who is wrong or right, and no matter which side you're on, that politics and social issues have no place in gaming. Especially on things that are not games that are published as them. Imagine using the suffering of thousands of people to try get famous. Despicable. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Графика, выполненная в мрачных тонах, прекрасно передает ощущение безысходности, а звуковое сопровождение усиливает эффект присутствия, заставляя прислушиваться к каждому шороху. Игровой процесс построен на решении головоломок и исследовании локаций, каждая из которых хранит свои мрачные тайны. Повествование подается дозированно, через разбросанные записки и окружение, что побуждает игрока к активному поиску ответов. Сложность задач подобрана таким образом, что они бросают вызов, но не вызывают фрустрации. 'DeathTolls Experience' — это не просто игра, это эмоциональное путешествие, которое оставляет сильное впечатление и заставляет задуматься.

Very short VR experience, but a good visual representation of the death toll of a few different recent historical situations, such as the toll of the civil war in Syria, fleeing immigrants, or terrorism attacks in Europe. What happens to me when I watch this is not a surprise of the vast numbers of dead people, I just get reminded of all the ignorant comments I've heard or read of egoistic and xenophobic people who are completely oblivious about how privileged they are, yet happy to act like the victims in context to these issues. It is free. Recommended!

Played on HTC Vive Pro/RTX2060 super. Hmm. Don't know what to say about it, didn't impress me in regard to showing the ammount of deaths. It's ok, maybe for people who actually care.
