This game is such a gem. Combat is enjoyable even with the tank controls. I play with keyboard and remapped the buttons so I was able to adapt fairly quickly I dare say I'm pretty cracked at combat already. I just love the enemy strategies and placements, combined with the combos you are able to pull off alongside spells, items, and jumping around doing flips. It is fairly simple to get into, you can bait out in order to fight one on one then just block and punish but you can also express your skill with enough practice and memorizing patterns. Sometimes you will be overwhelmed and that's when you have to run or jump around and utilize spells and gear creatively. Enemies will swarm you, ambush you, and some attacks have them end up behind you or they are able to jump around and over you. Weapons break so you aren't always using the strongest thing you find. The inventory system can be a struggle especially when in the midst of combat. I highly recommend save scumming as the game rewards your expertise in order to prep yourself between combat. The trial and error is very enjoyable and not too punishing as long as you save constantly and often times funny in a screw you kind of way…1 found this helpful
One of the greatest games of all time, oh what i would give for a modern remake / continuation of this.1 found this helpful
Sword and sorcery Tomb Raider. Is it bad? Kinda, but in a funny way. If you manage to get through the terrible controls, it has some laugh and giggles.1 found this helpful
Loved the game when i was a kid, But this version? totally broken....
I love this game. If this port of it worked, it would 100% be worth paying full price for. They need to fix this port. Play it another way with controller support. The game is like nothing else.
