While the game clearly comes from a smaller independent production, it manages to create moments of genuine suspense through its harsh survival mechanics, isolated atmosphere, and old-school approach to progression. The game’s setting is one of its stronger elements. Death Moon takes place on a mysterious alien planet filled with deadly wildlife, abandoned structures, toxic environments, and hidden technology left behind by unknown civilizations.
