About Decaying Delicacy
You can't read the form, but they want you to sign it. All you're really after is the one delicacy you crave, a hot-spanking Bar to dissolve in your mouth. It's gonna' take you places. But at least it's better than dying.
Collect keys to unlock gates to get those delicious delicacies while avoiding strange threats in a 2.5D arcade collection game, or at least that's the game some of the time. Read your diary, or don't. The game has several different endings based on your performance, and a number of alternative paths based on your choices and how you're doing.
This game is a psychedelic trip into a simple yet chaotic story of a girl who's too delicious for her own good.
FEATURES:
"Poor girl, sweet thing. Licked like a lollipop. This world is going to consume her. She's just too tasty for her own good. Run, run for your life, you poor unfortunate girl! Wash in the colors, break through your walls! You're my favorite flavor, I'm gonna' catch you~"

It's very short. With few endings to achieve in this one. I think it's neat and trippy with some meanings behind it. However my only issue with this game is that with the last two levels they're a bit difficult to go through, doable but very annoying. You have to be extremely lucky with key positioning and with disappearing and reappearing NPC that will be trying to stop you on your pathing. If you failed the level, F5 and try again- over and over again. And there's like 7 levels to go through in total. I really wouldn't complain much but the path given to you and the AI you have to avoid in the last levels are abysmal. Otherwise I am a fan of Yai's work. This one felt a bit underwhelming but it's there. So a mixed review I guess?1 found this helpful
It's a unique game, it paints itself as a make these choices and they will kind of make a difference kind of deal but frankly I never felt that once but it's not to it's detriment, the game basically plays like pacman with a twist, you have an area, you pick up a key and a candy if you find it, open the door find the thing you must take, as the levels progress you are chased by varying things and for getting caught just the once you are treated to a scene and in some/all cases a game over with a unique end scene, my first end being literally labelled the worst end XD which is super easy to get due to how gosh darn brutal the end levels can be dood. The story seems to be about someone struggling with...certain things, I mean it would be spoiling the whole game if I just said it really, I can't say I beat it sadly though, there was one aspect of the game I kind of didn't like and that was no save before what I am guessing was the final stage which had no clear indicator of what it wanted you to do which wouldn't be so bad if you could retry on the fly but the game likes it's things to chase you down rather harshly and I wasn't willing to do the prior segment again personally but …1 found this helpful
As a fan of it's sister game Girl's Graveyard, this game is much more challenging in terms of getting all the endings. It is lacking in terms of a cohesive story compared to the rest of Yai Gameworks, but it is worth a play though to at least Ending B. If you can get Ending A I commend you. It took me several attempts. Artstyle is cool and fun though.1 found this helpful
I think the game was rlly fun but the last 30 mins of playtime were dedicated solely to reaching the ending A started to love the game more when i understood how those invisible enemies worked ^^ anyways its a solid 6.5/10 good to buy on sale (Just realized that the director cut is gonna come out in a few months and now i feel stupid for completeing now)
Well... I don't know if this is... the game that the developer envisioned it to be at the end but... hey... you tried and now you have more experience. It's just not good, I like the 2.5 D style, but, it's just Pac man with some story elements with it... THERE IS Potential though. 2/10
I really enjoy everything about this game except the actual gameplay. It has great artwork, theme, soundscape and everything, but I wish it didn't have the run around picking up objects parts. Maybe it is a metaphor for the struggle of the main character, but it comes off as a cheap way of adding filler to an otherwise really interesting game. I'll still keep an eye on this developer because, again, the artistic expression and ambition is a wonderful one.
