Decorporate is one of those multiplayer games where the ridiculous premise is almost as entertaining as the actual gameplay. I control bizarre corporate and anime themed characters in a platform fighter where defeating another character can cause me to evolve into something completely different. I liked how quickly the matches become chaotic because there is always a chance that one successful attack can completely change my position. The basic movement is familiar. I can run, jump, attack and use a special ability, but every character handles differently. The Bull CEO can charge across the stage, the Fox Manager uses a gun, the Sheep Employee relies on a powerful jumping attack and Le Poulet has a ridiculous rocket jump. I enjoyed switching between them because the evolution system means the character I start with is not necessarily the character I will end the match with. The evolution mechanic is the best idea here. Getting a kill can transform my character and give me different statistics and abilities, so the fight is partly about surviving long enough to reach a stronger form.
