Game Overview
Wanba Warriors is a uniquely abstract 1v1 fighting game set in an ancient world with supernatural powers and unconventional weapons. Extraordinary Wanba Warriors from all corners have gathered to showcase their skills in epic battles. Choose from a variety of characters to battle friends or AI opponents, mastering tactics in this wonderfully bizarre world. Battles are quick and satisfying, delivering joy with each hit and minimal frustration with each loss.
The base game currently features six distinct characters, and we have released multiple DLCs, each introducing characters with vastly different styles.

Players appreciate the core gameplay and find it genuinely fun, with some calling it a gem worth playing. However, the main frustration centers on the gacha monetization system, where obtaining characters requires significant spending or grinding, which limits character variety and can make the experience feel repetitive for free-to-play players.
The weird ink-blot art style and goofy ragdoll physics make for a hilarious first twenty minutes, but the novelty fades fast. Combat is all about swinging weapons using momentum, which ends up feeling more like you're fighting the janky controls rather than outsmarting your opponent. There’s barely any content here, the characters are wildly unbalanced, and the online mode is a ghost town. It’s funny for a quick laugh with a buddy, but that’s about it.9 found this helpful
Ironically, it's a fine physics based brawler for an evening. But for the base price you only get 8 poorly drawn sprites and every other line of poorly drawn sprites is another buck on top. Thus the final price for the product is way too high for what it is. Dead or Alive monetization approach is cancer. At least it has a demo.1 found this helpful
Honestly this game just needs characters that you should be able to unlock without pulling out a credit card. Aside from that the game is fun but again it can get repeptitive when you only get like 5% of the characters1 found this helpful
