The controls aren't terrible on their own but combined with the cooldowns it doesn't feel very good to play. The cooldowns feel more like an obstacle to gameplay rather than something to guide the flow of offense and defense. It ends up feeling clunky and unsatisfying, something you have to force yourself to be constantly aware of, making another issue I have, the lack of clear feedback on enemy attacks and armor states, even worse. The UI seems fine, and the unblockable attacks have warning visuals, but the regular attacks and shields aren't conveyed in advance on the actual boss so your eyes are forced away from the characters, which again makes it a clunky experience. The characters and jokes seem fun and I'd like to see the game further (I only got just past the first boss), but even if I were to put it on the easier difficulty the combat just doesn't feel great in the game's current state, and that's enough to push me away from trying. The later game combat might move past the issues I have with it in this first stage, but unfortunately I don't have the patience to try and reach that far in the game's current state. What a hidden gem! The dialogue is quite charming in its own right, and the game gets better as you delve deeper into the lore. I enjoyed the mini-games and references, and the protagonists have unique personalities - if you know you know. The first boss encounter will make or break a lot of players so go casual if you're new to this fighting genre, otherwise take on the challenge to hone your skills. Comedic relief is well-timed throughout the story, and although combat can be quite frustrating, it's satisfying to finally clear the obstacle to continue on your adventure. Overall I'd recommend the game for the stunning art style, adorable voice lines and Jake's intriguing antics!

Простые на первый взгляд правила скрывают в себе глубину и множество нестандартных решений. С каждым уровнем сложность растет, заставляя по-новому смотреть на казалось бы знакомые элементы. Необычный визуальный стиль, выполненный в минималистичном ключе, добавляет игре шарма и помогает сосредоточиться на решении задач. Приятная музыка на фоне не отвлекает, а скорее создает расслабляющую атмосферу. Иногда не хватает более подробных подсказок, но это скорее подстегивает к самостоятельному поиску правильного ответа. SKD – отличный вариант, чтобы скоротать время и потренировать мозг. Рекомендую всем любителям головоломок!

I'm not sure if i'm just bad or the first bosses are impossible but I cant get past either which sucks because it seems fun and i like the designs.
