I don't remember when, how, or why I acquired this game, but I thought it would be a quick and easy game to 100% tonight. Unfortunately the game crashes repeatedly at the same moment in chapter 3. I've tried all sorts of things and just cannot get it to work. Not that the story was so engaging that I MUST see what happens or anything, I just would have liked to complete it.2 found this helpful
Deer Man, developed by Red Mount Media and Antarsoft and published by Red Mount Media, is a short, narrative-driven experience that leans heavily into symbolism and atmosphere rather than traditional gameplay. It presents itself less as a conventional game and more as an interactive reflection, placing players in the fragmented memory of a man named Jacob as he revisits a haunting encounter deep in the forest. The premise is simple on the surface, but the game attempts to explore deeper themes tied to human impact on nature, guilt, and the consequences of one’s actions. This design choice can work for those who enjoy slow, introspective experiences, but it also means there is little to hold onto from a gameplay perspective, making it feel more like a brief interactive vig…
Came here for the cool looking achievements, stayed for the good storyline. It's short, but well written and surprised me with how touching it was.
Deer + Man = Deer Man
Beautiful, minimalistic game that plays like a short-story or poem.
Play.
