Defrag Incremental

There isn't anything really interesting or particularly fun about this in the current state. Its nostalgic and a nice sort of thing to look at, I suppose, but that's about it.

If you like the satisfying feeling of the defrag-process (remember the 90's!) - you /could/ like this game. This is a game, after having achieved the automation tools, that you let running while playing another game...

A very slow burn type of game, to a fault early on (the upgrades are SUPER weak early on so it kind of feels like you're not making progress), but if you stick with it, it becomes oddly compelling. Edit after more playtime: the endgame seems to be totally borked? The fast algorithm was already the best choice every time, but now the drives take so long that it's literally the only one that can finish a single drive in a day, so that balancing feels bad. Not to mention that I want to complete all of the money based life goals but it's just super slow and grindy now...this game still needs some work, because progression just becomes miserable once you get to tier 8 disks and the fact that only one type of algorithm ever seems to be the correct one makes it very repetitive

Absolutely nails the aesthetics, you feeel that sound, complete delight. However launched extremely buggy (there had been some prompt bug fix releases though) and underbaked. Probably one of the weakest idlers I've seen gameplay/progression-wise. Very conditional recommend if you want to just sit and enjoy the nostalgia of that defrag rumble, but don't expect much of a game in current state.

This game is sweet for how little it costs

Interesting incremental game with a fantastic vibe. I appreciate the silly little jokes floating around in the UI, and the dev's willingness to listen to feedback and make adjustments. Most of all, I appreciate getting to watch a defrag screen again. Meditation time is back, baby!
