About Entropy Archive

Entropy Archive

Entropy Archive is a sci-fi incremental game where you grow, collapse, rebuild, and uncover the hidden structure of a corrupted machine.Start with simple energy production and gradually unlock a deep network of upgrades, expansions, prestige layers, and long-term progression systems. What begins as a small simulation evolves into a recursive archive of forgotten cycles, unstable records, and hidden mechanics.Optimize your production, trigger collapses at the right moment, and recover deeper layers of the Archive with every run.

Key Features

  • Build and scale an ever-growing production system
  • Collapse your progress to gain permanent power
  • Unlock new mechanics, systems, and progression layers
  • Discover hidden content and corrupted archive records
  • Progress through expansion-based milestones
  • Play actively or let the system grow while idle
Every reset reveals more. Every cycle leaves a trace.

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the incremental gameplay loop of watching numbers increase, but many find the game's mechanics confusing and poorly explained, particularly around prestige currency acquisition, progression scaling, and UI functionality. Common frustrations include unclear progression systems where rewards inconsistently scale after resets, unclear upgrade requirements that prevent purchases despite having currency, inability to resize the window, and randomized energy producer rolls that make strategic planning difficult. While the free-to-play nature earns some goodwill, the lack of clarit

After several prestiges metaprogression tanked. I would expect to get the same amount of rewards if I prestige at the same point as in the previous runs. But the returns go down while the costs for upgrades go up. One of the problems is, that the energy producer rolls, it has affixes. So in one run you may be blessed because it consumes very little timer while producing a lot of energy and the next one it is the exect opposite. In earlier runs I would get 10+ metacurrency when at 1.5k energy but after a few resets I get 4 at 15K-ish. I did everything I can from my experience to build a foundation to generate progress but I was ultimately punished for it. In the end mechanics are way too obscure to the point to leave me puzzled. It is like someone has to explain to me why a joke is funny - This game needs the dev to explain to you how it this game works so it becomes enjoyable because the ingame hints did not make it obvious what I did wrong. Maybe you are someone who understands the obscure intend so you get it right away, for everyone else I advice to skip it.

Free so yes. But, I don't really get it. One reset I got prestige currency then I never got it again after like 5 more resets, and I couldnt work out how to spend the currency I had, I had enough for an upgrade but it wouldnt buy it when I clicked on it. Also you cant resize the window, I aint playing this wasting my entire monitor. Like 5/10, if you can work out how to play this game maybe it gets better lol

unless your supposed to manual click for unlocks, dont see how to regain stability to let the run... run. just goes to crash with no gains
