Story is a bit corny but the art and visuals make up for it and are super immersive. Love the fact you launch in a rocket almost like a launch sim, so cool.2 found this helpful
This game is really nice, the voice acting is incredible and I loved the story with it's twists and turns and it not revealing everything at once. The graphics are kind of in that uncanny valley of trying to look realistic but not quite hitting the mark, and some of the gameplay mechanics felt a bit unintuitive at first, but it can be looked over if you are just here to enjoy the story Overall, I do think the base price is a bit steep, but if you enjoy a good story that'll pull your heartstrings it's certainly a game worth trying1 found this helpful
Didn't mind it, didn't hate it... so I can't recommend it at its current price point of $30. SOME of the puzzles/exploration was exceptionally good which made me keep playing it to its completion. However the story was extremely tedious and had me trying to skip it especially during the flashbacks and I was more intrigued by the logs and not by the main character. Over all a mixed bag of great and mediocrity. Grab if on sale, or you don't care about story and slow/tedious parts of a game including the gameplay. Very different from the first in the series.
For some reason, every creator of a sci-fi space game these days fancies themselves a writer for Interstellar... despite having Redditor-level writing chops, at best, and access to minimally-viable-product-level character modeling tech, which doesn't jive well with attempts at being serious. Despite loving every aspect of Deliver Us the Moon, I couldn't sit through the self-indulgent "narrative" sequences that are so prolonged, you forget the game mechanics. Somewhere beneath this is a decent puzzle game, I'm sure, but you need cosmic levels of patience to want to get to it.
The story is great and really hits you emotionally. I’m really hoping there’s going to be a sequel!
Good visual and voice acting but lacks a bit of better guidance. Sometimes the objective is too vague and the interactable objects do not get highlighted, leaving you perplexed about what to do next
