My Experience I had a pretty good time with Demon Cycle. I liked optimizing my "build" (essentially the demons you spawn, the items you equip them with, between-floor upgrades, and any animals that you put into your pen) so that I could most efficiently produce the gold to repay my debt, and attempting some of the major strategies that make themselves apparent. As another reviewer mentioned, it is difficult to rely primarily on the animals to produce your gold. Once you start placing animals into your pen, it seems that you're given the opportunity to capture more and more. It is easy for this to get out of hand and markedly drop the "temperature" in the environment (each animal increases the temperature drop that occurs each turn). If the temperature drops too far, the demons that you have spawned can perish (not good). However, you may also not want to push the temperature as high as you can. You'll get different card options depending on the current temperature, and there are great card options that exist when things are warm that you won't see when things are scorching. The only strategic component that I completely neglected to engage with was the "sacrifice" mecha…2 found this helpful
Highly recommend for roguelite and management fans like me! The game got more challenging than when I tested it during development, that's great. It's still fairly easy once you start knowing the good combos. The progression feels more streamlined too. It fits both casual playstyles and minmaxing theorycrafting minds, which is hard to achieve!2 found this helpful
I found this Game because I searched for the Fantasy Book-Series of the same name on google. Game sounded fun and only costed a few cents so I bought it. And it was pretty fun, especially the amount of content was way more than I thought it would be. Good Job1 found this helpful

A very addicting and fun resource management card game.
I absolutely love Demon Cycle. It was carefully planned out and executed; definitely the best strategy-based game I have ever played. I find that the Animals & Pen Feature after defeating the second boss is a bit too challenging for new players. I think that maybe you could increase the default cards you can use at the start of the game from 3 to 4 or even 5. The animals take up way too much temperature, and I find that I usually end up focusing on the animals and temperature that I end up forgetting I have my debt to pay. Other than that, I believe this is an incredible game and would recommend it to anyone who likes to throw caution to the wind or just likes luck/strategy-based games.
