DEMON DUST

demon dust felt like the perfect length to me, and throughout it treats you with as much respect as it can for its gameplay concept (which I won't spoil here). although at one point I felt like I wanted more "meat to chew into" once I had understood the game's intended mechanics, it ends very sweetly and didn't leave me feeling bad at any point. also the soundtrack is nice!!

Pretty dang rad. The interface and controls remind me a bit of Doom, but the game itself is more about exploring the world and discovering the rules. Interesting, cool, somber. Great play.

It's like void stranger but short and sweet. And has a very cool ending, worth going for. I also, love the restrictive controls, i think it's very well done, and the feeling of knowing the game a little more every time made it go from really scary to simply mysterious and i loved it!

I overall recommend this game, but it wasn't what I think it was. Some Gameplay Spoilers Ahead. [spoiler] I'll explain the game's strongest aspects and how they fall short in some regards. - Interconnected level design, knowledge based progression: They clearly understand a thing or two about what makes both of those exciting and this is the main reason you'll keep playing towards the end, hands down. Curiosity, wanderlust, a need to uncover every secret, and a sense of accomplishment from having gone through to the final bits and pieces of the map. The main problem is that the game is VERY limiting with the seed items that you need to REALLY explore everywhere you can. As far as I know you can only get two per run, and most times you need one for a specific room that works as a hub of sorts. They literally could put an unlimited vending machine of those items somewhere hard to reach but obvious once you have the proper knowledge, and we'd be golden. It is true that the tedium of this is very much reduced by getting some hidden phone numbers, but still you need to get the phone first and that requires a pesky and repetitive trek throughout the first 2 areas,…

This game has an immaculate atmosphere, I loved how much this game made me think about its puzzles... what an eerie vibe! and the phone was very fun to toy around with! Finding the secrets felt so rewarding and exciting, I loved the lack of handholding. The design of the levels and the monsters, the secrets enabling you to play the game in different ways, the interactable UI, this game is a hidden gem I hope to earn proper exposure in the near future. I look forward to what else the developer has up their sleeves!
