About Destiny of a Wizard 2: Beyond the Vale
THE STORY THUS FAR...
Since the beginning, the legend of the Blue Wizards was known to everyone. People from all corners of the world came to behold their wonderful power.
Life was peaceful for countless ages time until a rival, Darklin came to wage war against the Wizards and everyone who opposed him.
This twisted Blue Wizard succumbed to the dark arts and made it his
mission to destroy anything and everything living.
While other wizards thrived on peace and tranquility, Darklin
pleasures were chaos and destruction. . .
A war waged on between the Blue Wizards and Darklin for many wearying seasons.
In the end, Darklin was defeated and he was banished by the great
Cecil to another realm never to be seen again. . .
Darklin was never truly defeated and the Wizards knew this. They knew
their power could also be used to bring back Darklin from his eternal prison.
For this reason, the Wizards shut themselves away in secret never to be
heard from the outside world again.
This plan worked until a Dark Mistress named Zarra craved the same desires as Darklin and wanted to bring him back.
Zarra tracked down the Wizard's hidden village and took great pleasure slaughtering every remaining Wizard except for two. . .
A young child and her father. Before the village was reduced to ashes, the father
hid away his child and told him about the coming of Darklin.
This last hope... this last Blue Wizard was sent on a quest to stop Zarra’s plan and prevent the return of Darklin. . .
As hopeless as this quest was,the young would-be-wizard did not shy from
danger. The young child met the Sage of Light known as Lightin.
This old sage would guide him to become a true Blue Wizard.
He traveled to the glittering shores of the Vale Islands and embarked on
a quest to discover the four elemental crystals.
Slowly, the would-be-wizard unlocked his true potential!
The last remaining Blue Wizard traveled to the dark island of Dark Mistress Zarra and confronted her!
The battle is long and hard but our hero defeated her in combat!
Yet before our hero could stop the twisted Zarra, she sacrificed the hero’s father to bring back Darklin!
She uses a ritual not-so-named to bring him back and the final
battle between Darklin and our hero commenced!
The battle challenged everything in the weary warrior, but the last remaining Blue Wizard defeated Darklin and peace
returned to the Vale Islands.
Before Zarra’s Island sank into the depths below, the hero’s father
told him to go adventuring and spread his wings.
Let the world know that the Blue Wizards live again!

He approaches a new land and according to the CrystalNET this is the land of
Lulisa.

RPG Maker strikes again! "Destiny of a Wizard 2: Beyond the Vale" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is the sequel to an equally terrible RPG Maker asset flip called "Destiny of a Wizard", and just as that was completely awful, this is just as completely awful. Again we have an incredibly bland, generic plot about a "blue wizard" because primary colours are about as deep as the imagination of this asset flipper goes... once more the most notable thing about this is just how completely terrible the writing is, some of the worst writing known to mankind. Reading enough of it may cause an aneurism, so be warned, it's seriously that bad. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable …6 found this helpful
Let’s talk about Destiny of a Wizard 2. This game is big. Packed. It’s a full-length RPG maker experience. Compared to the original Destiny of a Wizard, it has a crazy number of new features. Where the first game had the single character, this time around we have a 4 person party – and you get to pick the classes of your 3 allies. They’re all here, all of the standard RPG class characters – the tank, healer, wizard, etc. Once again, you are in the shoes of the blue wizard, continuing on your quest from where the first game left off. You will traverse through mountains, forests, towns, volcanos and some locations may even be familiar if you played the original game. Just like before, the developer has spilled his personality and love for the classic RPG era into the game, and it is oozing with references and call backs to the earlier days of SNES games, and I caught a few movie references in there as well. There are many characters that are voiced by the devs family and friends, and that adds a bit a fun to the mix as well. This is by far better than the first one! It is more challenging, has more game options, and has much longer game play. This is one of the best RPGMaker games I've played. Depending on your tastes, here are the pro/cons you can find in this game: -Improved story line with more characters -Great humor -About 2 1/2 hours of voice overs -Some grinding is recommended, but it's not too much or too little -Can choose the name and gender of your entire team -Over ten playable classes so you can replay the game several times -Not as linear as the first game -You can save more often, like on the world maps -Visible enemies -Some chase scenes (like the spoiled Princess from game 1 who is still wanting you to marry her and she chases after you. Literally.) -More puzzles, mini games, and secrets to be found -No lag time, flawless controls -Easily 40 hours of game play -There is more bonus content (and the optional boss if pretty tough) that can add another 3-5 hours of game play -You can purchase a walkthrough at https://www.ultimacjproductions.com/fullversion For any fans of RPGs and RPGMaker games, this one is a "must play".
