Destiny of a Wizard 3: Beyond the World

My non-biased review: Cringeworthy RPG made by a great guy! Some minor typos. Solid gameplay with very tough challenges, Despite me playing on casual mode. oh, did I mention there's casual mode? Also chests with funny sayings. Very final fantasy inspired. 8/10 game despite everything.

Never found Laborious Field III despite two play-throughs. Wasted good money in buying the so-called guide which simply indicates a signpost in the Dale - location should at least have been indicated in a map. After a while the repetitive voice-overs became boring to the point of being irritating; there ought to be an option to turn it off.

This is a fun retro styled RPG adventure that doesn't take itself too seriously. The story has an interesting concept and there's a variety of towns, fields and dungeons to visit. There's a lot of humor too like how every treasure chest has something witty to say if you talk to it after opening it. This is the third game in the series but there is a short story synopsis in the beginning. There's also a pretty sizable postgame that felt like a "True Ending" after completing it. After grinding to max level and farming ultimate armor and weapons it was nice to actually be able to use it all. I liked that it wasn't one of those games where you don't get all the good stuff until there's nothing left to do anymore. There's a nice balance of main quests, side quests and even some puzzles to figure out. If you have difficulty with puzzles, each one comes with hints if you choose to read them. If you like retro inspired turn based RPGs then I think you'd be happy with this!

I played this game as a beta tester before it was put on steam. For those who have come to love the references and humor found in UltimaCJ's games, you'll find plenty of it in this newest entry. Best of all, the quality of writing and story telling has taken a massive leap making this the best game yet! I really appreciated how much more effort was put into crafting a quality story and making sure that it flowed well through the whole game. There's tons of content in this latest game and I'm sure you'll love every minute of it. Once you have tried it for yourself, I'm sure you'll agree that the snarky chests are the best part too!

Before we start i will warn that if u didn't play previous games u should go take a look at them. They both good games and a little different and playing this one will spoil them for you. One more note is that steam timer doesn't reflect my time with this game since before steam version came to be i played beta. Now lets get to business. So far every Blue Wizard game played differently and this one isn't an exception. This time our adventure is close to classic RPGs were main hero gather his companions on the journey. Each character have their own class and style and it depends on you if u will make best use of them.
