Devils & Demons is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. The game is a very simple "underworld" themed turn based tactical combat/RPG-lite heavily dumbed down for the mobile peasants the game was designed for. Much like the gameplay is incredibly shallow because it's not designed for PC gamers, the technical implementation is likewise deficient for many of the same reasons. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the mobile app, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the mobile app, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The mobile app features simplistic 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps or even browser games. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent…

Put some hours into it hoping to find some satisfying tactical combat and storytelling in a generic dark fantasy setting. I regret to inform you that the game actually contains slow, clunky tactical combat and minimal storytelling. The pace of progression is too slow to feel like you're accomplishing much. At least it's cheap. Pretty sure it came in a bundle.
