About as unorthodox as a racing game gets lol good fun. The 1 thing I *really* don't like is how the object you control is always randomly rotated when you respawn, essentially making it impossible to practice a track. The flow of the game for anyone taking the racing seriously involves respawning endlessly and hoping for a good first contact with the ground. If that little thing got changed, I would probably become obsessed with this game, but as is...it sadly plays as just some gimmicky racing game. Devs, *please* consider changing that. You're giving up a considerable amount of serious players right now. I'd love to recommend this game to my trackmania friends and viewers, but as it is right now I can't reasonably do that. Still, the game is very fun as it is right now :)

Digitum is a really enjoyable physics platformer that I liked almost immediately because of how strange its premise is. An old wizard pushes different objects through tiny portals just because he is bored, and I get to control those objects as they roll, bounce and slide through surreal courses. It is an absurd setup, but the movement is surprisingly satisfying. The main challenge is controlling momentum. I give my object an impulse and have to judge exactly how much force I need while avoiding obstacles that can waste valuable time. I enjoyed this because the controls feel simple at first, but getting a clean run takes practice. A small mistake can completely change my trajectory, so I have to learn how the physics behave rather than relying on traditional platforming instincts. Speed is always the goal, which gives the game a nice competitive feeling. I liked looking for better routes and trying to make each movement more efficient. The real time leaderboard also gives the game an extra reason to keep practicing, especially when I know there are faster runs waiting to be beaten. This game was straight up enjoyable but short. Each level change kept it engaging. It has its challenging moments but not absurdly rage inducing (perfect for my lack of platformer skill). I would like to see a multiplayer lobby version of this to play with friends or see each other’s times in real time. But instead we just shared a discord call together and played.
