✦ AI summary
Players are divided on this speedrun platformer where you cast spells as a wizard. Some praise it as unique and enjoyable with good level variety, but others criticize it as an incomplete, abandoned student project that shouldn't have been released outside Early Access, arguing developers have an obligation to deliver finished products rather than using Steam as a platform for unfinished work.

Runic Relay: The Trials is a hidden treat for anyone who loves first-person precision speedrunning platformers like Neon White or Ghostrunner, delivering a tightly mechanical experience that respects your time. Spending exactly 30 minutes inside the game is the perfect amount of time to blast through its gauntlet of magically constructed challenge dungeons using interactive spells like Fireball, Conduit, Tether, and Shear to clear various parkour obstacles. The absolute best part of the game is its deep spell synergy system. You aren't just blindly jumping across platforms; you have to actively combine your magical tools, triggering unique physics interactions—like using a Tether-Shear blast to instantly blink through mid-air hoops or scale impossible walls. The movement mechanics are surprisingly fluid and responsive, which is critical when you are constantly flying over chasms. While it lacks extensive narrative depth and the global leaderboard features are barebones due to the small indie player count, the core gameplay loop remains incredibly satisfying for a quick session. For a completely free title that keeps your Steam profile clean from incomplete tracking achievements, it …2 found this helpful

"Runic Relay: The Trials" is an unusual effort that feels like a student project or something, but it's abandoned and incomplete. It was an attempt to make a speedrun platformer but instead of the usual Mirror's Edge parkour ripoff stuff, we're running as a wizard in a trial and casting some spells to help us get to the end as fast as we can. The incomplete and abandoned nature of this project is the key issue that makes this unrecommendable. Once more Steam has been treated as a garbage dump for incomplete amateur stuff. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as a…

Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside. 3. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices. 4. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal. 5. Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degree…
