Great Game.
Played for 2hrs the first day and now the game won't load in not sure what the issue is but pretty sure it's not on my end. However the game itself is fun, tedious but to be expected given that paleontology is a very tedious and dirty career, but its every dino kids dream, i just wish it would load in so i can get the juicy bones
Man, what a [b]LONG[/b] demo. I'll give it that, for sure. And just so you know, you won't even get to the meat of it until 30+ minutes in. I see the reviews are [i]'Very Positive'[/i] but as much as I sort of enjoyed it, I'm going to have to balance that out and give a thumbs down. This does [b]not[/b] mean it's a bad game... It's just.... drawn-out? Padded, maybe? Too long? I'm not sure of the right word for it. [h3]The demo broken down:[/h3] [olist] [*]Connect-the-dots to draw a dinosaur as a kid, then assemble a toy dino model piece by piece [*]First-person open world driving (think Mudrunner) with a bad map, manually clearing logs and rocks out of your path one by one just to find the dig site [*]At the dig site, 9 different tools. Dig, shovel, wipe, break, analyze, locate, identify, plasterize, box up. Every. Single. Rock. Three full rounds of this. [*]Oh, and when you finally pull a chunk out? You hold it, WASD rotate the 3D model to aim your crosshair at a bullseye on the rock. That's the entire "minigame." Do it 4 times per rock just to hear "This is not a fossil!" ...or if you're lucky, "This is a fossil!" THEN you plaster it. Now do the whole thing again while your mou…
