I hate rubber banding!

changing the settings to easy and its still trash. ai cars are able to take corners no brakes,while you get pulled to the wall. they can even fly by when you are keeping pace.

Reviews for Dirt 5 seem unimpressed, and I can see that. It probably won't be anyone's favorite racing game, but I had fun with it for the time I played it. I just about 100%'d it, got gold medals in almost every event, bought all the cars, and just finished getting all the achievements, so my playtime approximately represents a completionist playthrough. Upon starting up Dirt 5, I was prompted to select a nickname for my character. This is something that Codemasters games have been doing going back to at least the original GRID from 2008. GRID would usually let you select your real name from a large list of common and realistic names, so that the voiced narrator could call you by your name as it tells you about your race results or newly unlocked events, but the Dirt games sometimes only let you select a nickname. My Steam reviews have not gotten me as many Tinder matches as I'd hoped, so I made Dirt 5 call me "Kitten," since seemingly no one else will. And with that I grabbed my white Monster energy, donned my cat ear headset, and got down to business. The career mode gets the job done, but not much more than that. I bought it in the summer sale, I think that should just be the original price. Game doesn't feel complete.

I cant even play the game, it starts up fine and right in to the first race it thinks my clutch pedal is my throttle and the brake is stuck on, I use a Logitech G923 Wheel, i tried changin the controles to no avail, i do use linux Bazzite but everyting else can se and recegnice all imputs, even theis own older game do that

Excellent racing game, some of the soundtrack/music I liked but none of it's bad the gameplay, maps/countries, tracks, steam remote play together/split screen, graphics are incredible it's like you're driving it in real life. There are so many classes and cars to choose from. I also have this game on PS4 since 2023 it's so good I had to get it on steam too. 10/10
