Divinity: Original Sin (Classic)

Very difficult game but good game.

Believe me, just play Divinity Enhanced instead. This version of the game is unbearably hard. It got to a point where my gameplay consisted of only one battle a day because of how sick I was of how difficult the fights are. The enemies have a IMMENSE advantage over you. Not only that, the quests feel a lot lackluster And the game runs really bad. Divinity Enhanced is far better in gameplay, more fun, and runs better. So go play that instead.

I'm about 60/40 on this one. I know it's a little older but it does have some great mechanics and I have always enjoyed the tactical style turned based combat. A couple of things that really started to hamper the great parts of the game: 1: The leveling. Enemies do not respawn. This means that in a zone or area you are questing in, you pretty much have to complete every single side quest and find every single enemy in the zone in order to be at a decent level for the next zone.... This caused boredom to set in as I found myself running all over the place in order to complete quests. 2: Part of 1.... I wasn't a fan of the journal on the quests. It had some very vague information when dealing with quest givers and I found myself searching the internet for some of the tasks as there was no information or even hints in the journal as to what to do next in a quest line. I found myself stuck on several quests reading through the journals and progress to see if I missed something. Sometimes the search revealed something simple....Most of the times my search revealed something completely out of whack that had no indications in the journal.
