Disciples III: Reincarnation

The feel of Disciples III is just a faint echo of the grim, intense atmosphere of Disciples II. The aesthetics go too often over the top, resulting in a convoluted, hardly comprehensible mess of textures. The world map itself is also difficult to navigate for this very reason. The revamped battlefield added new strategic options for sure, but also made the game feel more like HoMM, doing away with something that made Disciples unique and so interesting. One wonders why... The changed levelling system of heroes was in itself an interesting feature, but the individual "skills" too often just consisted of improvements by 1 point (+1 Strength, and so on), instead of more variable and impactful traits one could gain immediately in DII (such as various wards or abilities to use certain items). In this rendition it is just not engaging enough. The reworked system of unit abilities also lacks any sort of description - you are often left wondering what the relation to those skills you are familiar with from the previous games is and how these abilities actually work here. DO NOT BUY. Games will not save on systems with Windows 10 or 11. The file path it looks for no longer exists due to documents being reoriented to One Drive.

it's incredible! incredibly bad in fact. I have more hours than 3h here, as I used to play the game before the reincarnation patch, years ago Anyway, everything - graphics, balance, AI, pathfinding, economy, writing, polish, artstyle, leveling, every single think you can think of is worse in Disciples 3 than it is in D2

Beautiful gothic atmosphere, excellent soundtrack, and some of the best art design in the series. The revamped combat and added content make this the definitive version of Disciples III. Unfortunately, weak AI, balance issues, and repetitive late-game battles hold it back. Not as legendary as Disciples II, but still a worthwhile dark fantasy strategy RPG for fans of the franchise. Recommended for the atmosphere alone

I will copy this review to not waste time 3 games disciples 3 which 2 of them are unplayable garbage (THATS THE ONE THAT IS PLAYABLE AT LAST) graphics are nice mechanics of regenerating dwellings cool scrolls system op AF but with those few thigs it fells like some off series test that dumps most of things you loved about 2nd entrance and throws it out of the window still not recommended you better of moding D2
