Divenia

Divenia is a console-esque low quality 2D retro side scrolling platformer/brawler. There's some generic characters, I don't think they're asset flips, and if not, they're probably the "best" part of this mess. The gameplay is particularly bad, there's no tutorial or manual and while you have a whopping great big sword, it doesn't seem like you can actually use it. I tried every key on my keyboard, so you don't have to! From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. To make matters worse, there's no mouse input, despite this being sold on PC as if it were a PC game. This is unacceptable and somewhat insulting to PC gamers. It's a good demonstration of the poor attitude the developer has towards PC game…

Infinite health, really wonky hit boxes, and it just didn't feel great to play. And then the gun thing in the level firing at you blocked the camera and I fell off the walker because of it :D

Игра 'Divenia' - это глоток свежего воздуха в жанре ролевых игр. Она подкупает своей красочной графикой и увлекательным сюжетом, который полон тайн и неожиданных поворотов. Мир Дивении живой и дышащий, каждый уголок которого хочется исследовать. Боевая система, хоть и не отличается особой сложностью, достаточно динамична и не дает заскучать. Персонажи запоминающиеся, а их истории цепляют с первых минут. Особенно радует возможность влиять на развитие сюжета своими решениями, что добавляет реиграбельности. Однако, у игры есть и недостатки. Иногда встречаются мелкие баги, а оптимизация могла бы быть и лучше. Тем не менее, положительные впечатления от игры значительно перевешивают минусы. В целом, 'Divenia' – это отличная игра для тех, кто любит погрузиться в захватывающие приключения и исследовать фэнтезийные миры. Рекомендую к ознакомлению, особенно если вы ищете что-то новое и интересное в жанре RPG. Моя оценка - твердая 8 из 10.

Divenia is game that looked straight bad from screenshots. And there is no controls explained anywhere, and despite trying every reasonable key on keyboard and mouse, I could not swing weapon... Even game requirements are not well written. Minimum 15 GB? Actually game takes around 750 MB.
