About Do you have SALT?

Snow is slowly falling outside. A girl named Anastasia, who lives in an old multi-story building, decides to leave her apartment. She goes to borrow some salt from her neighbors and find a treasure hidden in this house. But what kind of treasure is this, and is it worth looking for? Her neighbors are very strange, and Nastya will have to make a choice which one to go to.

Reality mixes with nightmares, but the treasure is somewhere very close...

In our visual novel you will find:

— Three neighbors with separate routes.

— A bright visual component, in which there is a large number of CG-arts!

— The presence of choices that affect the ending.

— As many as 10 endings!
I added SALT to my psychedelic experience, and now even the anglerfish are giving me side-eye.

Gameplay
When you first launch the game, the default language is Russian. To switch it to English, simply follow the setting shown in the screenshot below. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3398635304 You are seated behind a computer for your first encounter. Nothing is interactive, so you feel a little cut off from the scenario even if you can't truly "browse" through different folders, pictures, or even a game. Do you have SALT?'s gameplay is simple, emphasizing exploration and environment interaction over conventional techniques. You'll move between flats, run into oddball people, and use your encounters to put together the plot. There aren't any difficult riddles, so the focus is more on taking in the ambiance and learning the story at your own speed.
Storyline
The main character, Stasya, begins with a piece of paper in her pocket that reads: “FIND THE TREASURE.” The game thrusts you into the story with little context, there's no background story or explanation, other than a brief mention of an anglerfish and a human both hiding tre…

I had no idea what to expect from this VN - yet the story turned out to be really bizarre, although still charming. It's very abrupt without proper lore or elaboration and each playthrough is short, however the experience was quite interesting to me. I enjoyed the different storylines, especially with how eerie the atmosphere and diverse surreal/scary scenes could get. The ambience together with the art, music, and creative horror ideas are very lovely and immersive! Overall, if you don't mind the brief length and superficial writing, the VN is certainly entertaining and includes a nice variety within the plot, solid amount of choices and routes, plus an outstanding presentation!

What a novel novel! To me, at least. First of that was finding how to switch the language, but still! Loved the ambiguity, the characters and the branching paths, short as they were. Go ask for some salt!

I enjoyed this short little, light novel. No spoiler short sunmary: it's a woman going through a deep depression and trying to find meaning in life.
