• Environmental puzzles: Rooms filled with platforming puzzles and hidden paths, rewarding your creativity.

Clever games curator review: 8/10 A really fun turn-based puzzler that just so happens to look like an RPG dungeon crawl. At first your challenge is to avoid dying from the numerous enemies that are around you, but quickly you collect weapons and skills that allow you to dispose of them easily, leaving you with the real goal: collecting coins and eventually climbing to the top of the structure at the center of the world. Since everything is turn based the enemies are really just obstacles to free movement and defeating them involves cleverly avoiding their attacks and/or attacking when they can’t. This gets more complex when there are multiple enemies, and then much easier once you’ve found the proper skills and weapons. Thereafter your remaining challenge is navigating the hand-designed maze-like environments and figuring out how to jump from one platform to another. Note that even jumping is turn-based; when you jump you move up one unit into the air and then hover there until you take your next action. So even in this way everything happens on a grid. Meanwhile the mazes are quite challenging, particularly because t…

My favorite moments in the game -- those where you suddenly realize you can do something that you didn't suspect before -- are all firmly in spoilers territory... so I'll just say: The puzzles are fun/well designed. Mechanics evolve at a good pace and in interesting ways. It can be completed in an evening or, presumably, an afternoon. And the character designs are quite nice. If you like puzzle games, definitely check it out! (Also, if you like this game, you'll also like Chill Seekers.) (I do wish there was a Mac version...)

As with all of Lime Blossom Studio's work, this is a devilish puzzler that starts of satisfyingly simple but will have you scratching your head in consternation well before the end. With lots of extra optional puzzles and tons of solutions (including ones the devs never considered) for each puzzle, this is a real genre-bending treat. I never would have expected a Wizardry-like to have movement and platforming like this.

Fun little 3d-grid-based-movement puzzler.

Doggos in Dungeon exceeded my expectations - it's a very fun game that I would describe as a voxel Metroidvania puzzle game where times moves only when you move. It's so satisfying when all the unlocks come together and you have to use them all to solve the final challenge in the game. Highly recommend!

So much fun, cozy and has lots of character. You can tell a lot of passion and care went into this. I first played the demo at MDEV 2024 and I just got around to playing the full version, I have a feeling I will be revisiting this game every fall :)
